The VII INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Sosnowiec (Poland) in June 2016, organized by the University of Silesia. The main topic was NEW RESEARCH METHODS IN HYDROGEOLOGY AND HYDROLOGY. Participants had an opportunity to learn new technic applied in hydrogeological problems. Participants also had an opportunity to take part in the Mike modelling and Civil 3D trainings.

The VI INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Bełchatów (Poland) in June 2015, organized by the University of Silesia. The main topic was HUMAN IMPACT ON GROUNDWATER. Participants from 8 countries (Poland, Germany, Belgium, Marocco, Cameroon, Ireland) had an opportunity to meet hydrogeological problems in the area of lignite exploitation. There was also be a possibility to learn potential influence of planned water recultivation of the open-pit mine on groundwater dynamic and quality. Participants also had an opportunity to take part in the FEFLOW modelling basic training, supported by DHI.

The V INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Sosnowiec (Poland) in June 2014, organized by the University of Silesia. The main topic was INTENSIVE GROUNDWATER DRAINAGE. Participants from 8 countries (Poland, Denmark, Finland, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine, RSA, Iran) had possibility to meet hydrogeological problems in the Upper-Silesian Coal Mining Region. Participants also had an opportunity to take part in the ArcHydro Groundwater basic training, supported by ESRI Polska and AQUAVEO.

The IV INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Lądek Zdrój (Poland) in May 2013. It was the first workshop organized by the University of Wrocław. The main topic was GEOTHERMAL ENERGY.

The III INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Ustroń (Poland) in June 2012. The main topic was GROUNDWATER PROTECTION AND MONITORING. We had pleasure to gather young Polish, Slovak and Nigerian hydrogeologists. The meeting was organized by young scientists from the Department of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology (University of Silesia).

The II INTERNATIONAL FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Złoty Potok (Poland) in June 2011. The formula of the Field Workshop became International - participants from Poland, Slovakia and Nigeria. The main topic was THE IMPACT OF HUMAN ACTIVITIES ON GROUNDWATER.

The I FIELD WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG HYDROGEOLOGISTS, Námestovo (Slovakia) in June 2010. It was the very first scientific meeting of hydrogeology students from the University of Silesia and the University of Warsaw organized by the Scientific Students Organization 'AQUA' (the University of Silesia).
